November always makes me pause, taking stock of the blessings in my life. You’re one of them!

Mister Rogers: Childhood Favorite
As the host of the beloved PBS children’s show Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, Rogers mesmerized my four-year-old self when the show debuted back in 1968. I’d cozy up in front of our black-and-white TV singing along to “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” and delighting at the sight of Daniel Striped Tiger, King Friday XIII, and the Neighborhood Trolley. In a soothing, comforting way, Rogers and his ensemble cast of puppets would teach me about the world in a way my little preschool brain could understand.
Recently, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood starring Tom Hanks hit movie theaters, and I absolutely loved it! Rogers embodied the spirit of kindness, gratitude, and positivity and taught so many life lessons to young and old alike. His quiet truths still resonate with me—and millions of others.
